Rawrr...

Why the uninspired title? I'm doing the Inspired By A Time Period Challenge by Llama Nails and the time period for this week is Jurassic Era! Which means Dinosaurs which also means Rawrr.. Get it? No? Never mind.

I'm super excited for this challenge, its definitely going to push my imagination i thought I'd do an accent nail of a T-Rex or Jurassic Park maybe but my painting skills suck. Also i saw so many Saran Wrap Manicures i thought i could try this? Right? 

So i started with A poor nameless Green which is a beautiful Once Coater aka Easy Dents and the brush was brilliant. It has something like a channel V logo on it except it has brackets.  See the little beaut for yourself!

It does stain though, i realised this during clean up but because i used base coat I was gonna be alright! Then i waited for this to dry completely which means it had dents too but i didn't worry because i was going to cover it up anyway, I then used VOV yellow which again has no name or number it is a really bright yellow like the kind you'd use for a bumble-bee or cupcake i guess.. 

I didn't have Saran wrap so i cut out plastic filled it with clean-up Cotton and taped it to look like a ball with a holder. Yes i suck at describing so i took pictures!

then once the yellow was added i dabbed my fake saran over my nail. I did one nail at a time cause the VOV polishes tend to get lumpy quickly .

it worked just fine *yay*

So the ball can totally be used as an alternative to saran wrap manicures, i really liked this design yeah? But i wanted a little bit more! So i stamped over this. Now because of the technique I used it was not an even surface so my stamps didn't transfer correctly. Did i stop and apply top coat and then do the next? Nope.

Was that a good idea or bad I dunno you tell me 

I stamped using the same nameless Green and Konad Image Plate-M83. Also the website i order my Image Plates from has shut down.real tears were shed! I'll source a new place of course but I'm still a little heart-broken.

I think my manicure looks very Jurassic era like and you?

How much is too much?

First i want to start of by saying Michelle is very sweet also a little naive, because she allowed me to join her Fix My Fail challenge, but thank you anyway. 

Now, I've been thinking and thinking about how much i want to tell you'll not because you'll are not awesome but because i just don't know if you'll actually want to know?  

I think I'll tell you'll because you girls mean so much to me, its not even funny how much i adore you'll I'm sure you know I've been frequenting the hospitals lately and I have to go in for a lumpectomy on Saturday. I know its not the end of the world and its just a minor surgery but I'm upset and scared. And I want you'll to know why i disappeared *in case i do*  Just kidding, I'll schedule a few posts and if I still don't come back then i didn't make it! Kidding! Kind of.

 So that's that a little piece of my life is now on the Internet for all to see and that makes me feel even more vulnerable but i really wanted to tell you'll. Also i figured you'll could send a sister some prayers/luck/voodoo whatever makes you roll! 

Enough wah-wah, so i did tell Michelle i don't have similar colours or glitters she was naive  kind enough to let me try anyway. and well here's my attempt

Fingers have my photo's improved?     

i started with Colorlife #251 which I'd have called Hooker Red but i think Hooker Red would be more red, this can be Bloody Mary. Yes, Colorlife I'll work for you and turn your poor numbered polishes into awesomely named babied :) 

This is two coats, it was very nearly a one coater though! Then i used my VOV silver glitter polish that is loaded with Hexes big and small. I emptied a little onto a plastic lid of a take-away box *yay recycling* and then placed them on my nails rather haphazardly 

I like it! I hope you do too Michelle!

I must admit the formula of the VOV glitter was crappy, it was clumpy and dried too soon and did cause my Bloody Mary aka #252 to run a little. All in all though i was happy with the result! 

Where have i found better lighting in my house? Its the bathroom the lighting is perfect and so is the background :)

Happy Women's Day!

How did i know it was women's day apart from the obvious fact that I'm a woman? A friend gave me a chocolate! How sweet is that? It also goes to show how I will only remember a day if there are gifts involved.

Am i happy about this? that's a stupid question.

Will he be getting any, anytime soon? I plead the fifth on this one.

So this is a non polish post. My blog is called Something About EVERYTHING not Polish things anyway, and I'm feeling rather rambl-y today. You ladies following me are awesome! Women in general are awesome!

And this post is my excuse way of celebrating aka getting drunk. I'm not drunk while writing this...*just saying*

Cause its Women's day *admittedly only in some parts of the world, here in India its over* and because we love to hear funny things about dem men instead of us. Girl Power! 

I do not claim to have thought any of these up I'm sure I've read some of these before and the ones i think are mine some genius might have put them on already but i haven't seen them. So do not sue me!
